For more than 30 years, now in the third generation, guests have been accommodated and entertained on the small island in the Havel. The historic building was built in the 17th century as a water mill. The original millstone on our terrace still reminds us of a long forgotten time... Strasen is an ideal starting point to explore the big and small pearls of the Mecklenburg and Brandenburg Lake District.

The light-flooded double rooms are non-smoking and have a bathroom with a large washbasin, shower and hairdryer. The amenities include SAT-TV (flat screen) and free W-Lan.

A rich breakfast buffet with homemade game sausage and jams, among other things, is included in the price.

A small bicycle cellar is available for bicycles.

The restaurant (80 seats) and the terrace in front of it (80 seats) offer good Mecklenburg cuisine with many fresh fish and typical regional dishes.

From the restaurant you have a view of the charming nature. No factory farming, no transport and slaughter stress. The natural way of life and the balanced diet of native game species in the wild give the venison a high vitamin and mineral content with a low fat content at the same time.

Whether as steaks, cutlets, roasts, sausages or even burgers, venison is a very high-quality food and we know how to handle it!
