Marina Alter Hafen - Yacht Charter

The idyllically situated Marina Alter Hafen awaits you on the Oberhavel waterway between the Mecklenburg Lake District and Berlin/Potsdam. The ideal starting point for water sports enthusiasts and recreation seekers is located directly in the Mildenberg Brickworks Park, on the Berlin-Copenhagen long-distance cycle route and on the European long-distance hiking trail E10. Here you have interesting opportunities to discover the surrounding natural paradise.

The fleet consists of comfortable yachts of, among others, the brands Linssen (Linssen Dutch Sturdy, Grand Sturdy) and Pedro (Skiron/Solano). The well-maintained vessels are easy to maneuver and offer space for 2 to 8 people. Comfortable furnishings and a sun deck with bathing platform will make your boating vacation a unique experience.

The marina is equipped with a petrol station and waste disposal facilities. For your supplies, visit the harbour shop and browse through the marina boutique, where the latest fashion and accessories await you.

Yacht charter - also licence-free!

The yachts can also be sailed without an official sports boat licence. For this purpose, a charter certificate can be acquired after intensive three-hour instruction, which enables licence-free navigation on a large number of inland waters. Generally, the charter certificate applies to charter boats with a maximum boat length of 15 metres. The maximum speed of 12 km/h may not be exceeded and, depending on the boat certificate, a maximum of 12 persons are permitted on board.

After a theoretical briefing, the regulations, traffic rules and the area are explained to the crew. In the practical part, driving the yacht is explained and practised in various manoeuvres on the water. After a successful trial run, the charter certificate is issued. This is valid for the charter period and must always be carried on board.
