Many bodies of water in the Stechlin-Ruppiner Land and Schorfheide-Chorin nature parks invite you to swim thanks to their good quality. Many clear-water lakes have idyllically situated natural bathing spots that, with a bit of luck, you only have to share with a few visitors. There are numerous other unguarded bathing spots along the clay lakes.
- The quality of the water bodies is regularly checked and published by the public health department from mid-May to mid-September.
