This varied circular route through the Ruppiner Seenland region fascinates with its interesting towns and villages as well as its beautiful landscapes characterised by tree-lined avenues and wooded banks. Like pearls on a necklace, the cultural monuments alternate with the numerous lakes and offer an unforgettable insight into the lakeland and KulturLand. Theodor Fontane and Karl Friedrich Schinkel present Neuruppin in its classicist guise. A wide audience is enchanted by the summer performances of the Rheinsberg Castle Chamber Opera and the Castle Theatre with the romantic backdrop of Lake Grienerick. The bathing spots along the cycle path offer a change of pace and invite visitors to refresh themselves in the cool water. Santa's post office in Himmelpfort is also worth a visit. Here you can hand in your wish list before Christmas time. The wide monastery meadow by the secluded Haussee lake tempts you to take a short break, as the view into the distance tempts you to dream. Once you're back in the swing of things, the path leads through the clay-pit landscape to the Mildenberg Brickworks Park. Along the picturesque course of the Havel you will also find Oranienburg Castle, in whose park Queen Luise loved to linger. Another delight is the ride along the beautiful Lehnitzsee lake and through the green Briesetal valley. The historic barn district in Kremmen fascinates with its ensemble of buildings that is unique in Germany.
