This route takes you through the historic town centres of Kremmen, Neuruppin, Rheinsberg, Gransee, Templin, Angermünde, Bad Freienwalde and Altlandsberg.
During your tour, visit and experience the largest preserved barn district in Germany in Kremmen, the classicist town of Neuruppin, Rheinsberg and its legendary moated castle, Gransee with its Wieck houses, Templin's completely preserved town wall, Angermünde and its beautiful market square and the pretty houses around it, Bad Freienwalde with its numerous villas from the Baroque, Classicist and Wilhelminian periods and Altlandsberg with its remarkable ring-shaped town wall, the gate towers and the ramparts.
The route also runs through a fabulous landscape scenery, which is mainly characterised by the Stechlin-Ruppiner Seenland and Uckermärkische Seen nature parks, the Schorfheide-Chorin biosphere reserve and the Unteres Odertal National Park.
You can start on the route from a wide variety of starting points and there is also an excellent connection to Berlin, which means that the capital can also serve as a starting point or destination.
