The first stage of the Berlin - Copenhagen Cycle Route leads 50 kilometers from Berlin-Mitte to Oranienburg. First, it passes the sights of Berlin such as the Brandenburg Gate. Via Spandau it goes along the Havel river to Hennigsdorf. From there, it is only a stone's throw to Oranienburg with its 17th century castle.
