Geocaching

Geocaching is a real outdoor treasure hunt using GPS-enabled devices as well as mobile phones. Participants navigate to certain coordinates and try to find a geocache (a hidden container) there. There are several geocaches waiting to be found in the Mecklenburg and Brandenburg lake districts. Taking part is easy. After logging on to www.geocaching.com, destinations in the vicinity are indicated and the search can begin.
