Car
You can reach the north of the Brandenburg Lake District via the motorways 11, 19, or 24 as well as via the federal road 96. Distinctive destinations such as Lake Stechlin or the Mildenberg Brickworks Park are signposted.

Drivers of e-mobiles will find three charging stations in the region to recharge their batteries:
- Stechlinsee-Center Neuglobsow You can get the key at Landhaus Labes from the Schmolke family.
- Brickworks Park Mildenberg
- Town centre, Markt 1, Fürstenberg/Havel
- Town centre, at the church, Gransee
- Zehdenick (Mark) train station

Railway
The north of the Brandenburg Lake District can be reached hourly by regional express RE5 from Berlin. Stops are Gransee, Fürstenberg/Havel or Dannenwalde (every two hours). The Havel town of Zehdenick is connected by the RB12 (Berlin - Templin) every one hour. Bicycles can be taken on all routes.

Bus
Several bus companies run regular services to Fürstenberg/Havel. For example, the Oberhavel Verkehrsgesellschaft (OVG) mbH and the Uckermärkische Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH (UVG) will take you to the water town. The FlixBus company now also makes stops in Fürstenberg/Havel. Whether from Berlin or Leipzig, on to Neustrelitz and Neubrandenburg, travelling by long-distance bus lines is becoming increasingly popular. Because it is not only inexpensive but also environmentally friendly.

Aeroplane
Guests can travel by plane to Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) "Willy Brandt". From there, take the bus and/or underground to Berlin Central Station. From Berlin main station, the onward journey is possible by RE5 to Gransee, Dannenwalde or Fürstenberg/Havel or by RB 12 to Zehdenick (from Oranienburg station).
Bicycle
The International Long-Distance Cycle Route Berlin - Copenhagen connects the Brandenburg Lake District with the capital Berlin in the south and the Mecklenburg Lake District in the north. Well-known routes are also the Tour Brandenburg or the Havel Cycle Path.
All routes are uniformly signposted according to international standards.
