In the meantime, the roof has been covered with tiles according to the historical model. A 300-kilogram motor for automatic smoke extraction has also been installed there as part of the fire protection concept. Windows and doors were installed in the summer, and the destroyed gable has been restored and connected to the roof and floor (photo from before these changes: REGiO-Nord/A. Wirsig).

The committed Himmelpfort residents are confident that the project, including the courtyard and toilets in the adjacent building, will be completed in 2023. In the future, the brewery is to be used as a cultural venue and filled with life - with concerts, exhibitions, choir performances, in short, everything that brings joy to the people in and around Himmelpfort and remains a pleasant memory for the guests. Cinema, dance tea, weekly and flea markets, many things are possible. The civic foundation would like to call on the people of Himmelpfort and visitors to help shape the project and is happy to receive ideas for use by e-mail. A start has already been made: if the building is completed in time, there will be a family Christmas market - cozy and homey, including shining children's eyes.
