The THEOsWEG is recommended for nature lovers and literature enthusiasts alike. Since mid-2020, hikers have been able to obtain the matching hiking folding map at the tourist information offices in Fürstenberg/Havel, Stechlin (Glasmacherhaus in Neuglobsow) and Zehdenick. In addition to information and quotations by Fontane, the map also includes the stations of the hike as stamping points. Guests can have their visit to the individual places acknowledged. You can also download the map in A3 or A4 format from our website: https://www.stechlin.de/themen/erlebnis-natur/wandern/ for hiking.

Exciting, informative, historical - that's what the guided tours in Fürstenberg/Havel promise. In future, visitors and residents of the Mecklenburg and Brandenburg Lake District will be able to go on a discovery tour of the water town. On the "Fürstenberg Journey through Time" tour, our city guide will take his guests on a competent and charming journey throughout the year, introducing them to historical sights and romantic places and, of course, revealing the secret of the Fürstenberg gold treasure. On the tour "In search of clues with the town writer", the town writer reports on amusing anecdotes in historical garb as he explores Fürstenberg/Havel with his guests. He sheds light on well-known and (as yet) unknown historical personalities as well as historically significant sites and buildings.
