Jörg Düsterwald makes the world at the Stechlinsee a little more beautiful

The Stechlin is one of the most beautiful lakes in our lake district. Crystal clear, shrouded in legend and mystical, it casts a spell over visitors. This was also the case for the artist Jörg Düsterwald from Hameln, who fell in love with the landscape and lake after seeing pictures on the social media platform Instagram. (Photo: Andreas Meier)

Düsterwald arrived in the region through contact with Susen Liepner from the tourist information office, who helped plan his stay in Oberhavel. In early September, he set out on location with a photographer and a model to discover magical motifs. They were found after an afternoon of sighting and Jörg Düsterwald gave himself over to his inherent passion, the design and the colors. His intention: to make the world a little bit more beautiful, if not better. This endeavor makes his art and every single brushstroke with which he "paints" his models in nature so valuable...
