Café and Bistro in the Christmas House

The café in the "Himmelpfort Christmas House" welcomes its guests under the roof of the old village school, with a beautiful courtyard garden and a view of the monastery ruins and the Haussee lake.

Visitors can enjoy first-class coffee specialities and delicious cakes here, as well as tasty breakfasts and small dishes that change daily.

Groups receive hearty, extensive barbecue buffets or festive coffee tables on request.

Santa's Room is located in the courtyard and can be visited free of charge during cafe opening hours. The two wish list letterboxes are freely accessible at all times and await letters from wish-makers big and small.

From mid-November, the Christmas post office opens in the Christmas House and Santa and his angels move into the writing room.

Markets and events take place on the monastery lawn all year round, with the "Himmelpfort Christmas Market", which takes place on all Advent weekends, being the highlight of each year.
