Stechlin NatureParkHouse

Discover, touch, experience - the NaturParkHaus in Menz offers a fantastic journey through natural spaces and a sensory garden. Here, visitors can explore the special features of the Stechlin-Ruppiner Land Nature Park and an experience exhibition that appeals to all the senses. Guests can delve into the mysterious passages of ants, spend a moonlight night in the forest, telephone with native animals and trace many other secrets of nature. The sensory garden next to the house invites you to taste, smell, feel and hear with many herbs, shrubs and other plants.

The tour of the house can be supplemented by an approx. 6 km hike on the forest and water adventure trail around the Roofensee lake or the moor adventure trail. The accompanying booklet and rucksack can be borrowed from the NaturParkHaus.

In addition to the permanent exhibition in the house, there are changing exhibitions and theme days in the attached "Regional Workshop".

The visitor centre in the Stechlin-Ruppiner Land Nature Park is equipped for disabled visitors. Environmental education programmes can be booked.
