Stechlin Tourist Information
The name Stechlin does not only refer to Fontane's novel or the lake, but also to a municipality. It consists of the villages Dollgow, Menz and Neuglobsow/Dagow and is located in the Stechlin-Ruppiner Land Nature Park between the Ruppiner Seenland and the Mecklenburg Lake District in the Brandenburg Lake District. The tourist information centre for the region is located in the glassmaker's house in Neuglobsow.
