66 Lakes Hiking Trail

The 66 Lakes Hiking Trail is Brandenburg's main hiking trail with over 400 km. The circular trail is one of the most attractive lowland hiking trails in Germany. In cross-section, you can hike through the diverse landscapes of this wooded and water-rich state. Extensive deciduous forests can be discovered in the northern sections, coniferous forests in the south. The western sections are dominated by palace and park landscapes. And in the eastern part, riparian forests and secluded unspoilt natural landscapes open up.

All landscapes are interspersed with natural streams and rivers, pools, ponds and lakes, which alternate with diverse agricultural landscapes and dreamy villages. The great thing is: all hiking stages can be easily travelled by public transport. Fuss e.V. has published a motto for this: "Hiking by train and bus is good for you. - Not only for our health and the environment, but also for the small stations in Brandenburg.

With this in mind, Fuss e.V. has put together individual stages that make it possible to hike manageable sections, each of which can be reached by train and then left again...

Umleitungshinweis für den Ort Leibsch: Der Schleusenbereich ist voraussichtlich bis August 2024 gesperrt. Die Umleitung des Paul-Gerhardt-Weges und des 66-Seen-Wanderweges führt über die Leibscher Hauptstraße.
