Steinhavel Mill Lock

The Steinhavel lock is located at kilometre 64.60 of the Upper Havel Waterway in the Steinförde district northwest of Fürstenberg/Havel in the Oberhavel district. The lock is located in the so-called Steinhavel, a sparsely developed section of the Havel between Lake Menow and Lake Röblin.

Since the Upper Havel Waterway is no longer used by cargo ships and is only frequented by a few small passenger ships, it has developed into a popular area for pleasure boats of all sizes and classes.
