On the tour through the Templin and Lychen waters, nature lovers roam through one of Brandenburg's most pristine paddling areas. The winding Havel takes them past mysterious islands and untouched forests. Attentive canoeists may even spot a beaver or otter in the rustling reeds. The low current makes the tour also suitable for beginners and families.
For guests with their own boat, the Lindenhof stud farm in Templin is a good starting point. There is a rest area for water hikers, guest rooms, a hay hotel and mobile home parking facilities. The stud farm also offers a canoe shuttle. The necessary overland transport of the boat from Lake Netzow to Lake Platkow can thus be done conveniently at the start of the tour. Further launching possibilities are in Lychen and Templin. The tour ends in Fürstenberg/Havel.
