Harvest festivals 2023 in the lake district: Dollgow am See and Mildenberg celebrate the harvest

The harvest festival, which is celebrated in Germany in September to the beginning of October, is one of the oldest festivals of mankind. Traditionally, this celebration is held at the end of the harvest season to thank God for allowing the fruits, vegetables and grains to flourish. In the middle center, the celebrations in Mildenberg and Dollgow have a long tradition. After years of hardship due to the Corona crisis, the harvest is now being duly celebrated again.

37th Farmer's Market and Windmill Festival Mildenberg September 1-2, 2023:

Menz on October 14, 2023:

On October 14, 2023, there will be informative, tasty and interesting facts about the "paradisiacal" fruit at the "Apple Day" around the NaturParkHaus, Kirchstr. 4, in Menz from 10 am. All kinds of products around the apple, a direct juice pressing, as well as worth knowing to its use belong likewise to the program, like the fruit exhibition.
